Program Overview - Culture for Change presents a globally inspired Summer Education Program focused on cultural exploration, youth empowerment, and community engagement. With a mix of youth-led, student-led, and teacher-supported sessions, this program offers a hands-on experience for youth ages 9–17. Daily Themes - • Monday – Introduction to the Culture & Art: Creative arts and music from around the world • Tuesday – Food & Science: Cooking & fun experiments • Wednesday – Games & Engineering (STEM): Build, test, and play using logic and engineering • Thursday – Community, Movement & Showcase: physical activities, dances & expression, project givebacks, walking gallery to showcase projects from the week Weekly Global Culture Themes - • June 1-4: Welcome Week- Mexico/Aztec Culture • June 8-11: Space & Astrology • June 15-18: Asian Culture • June 22-25: Greek Mythology • June 29-July 2: American Culture • July 6-9: African Culture • July 13-16: Ocean/Polynesian Culture • July 20-23: Deaf/Blind/Special Needs Culture • July 27-29: Pop Culture & Celebration/Giveback – Final showcase and certificate To fill an application to enroll, please come to the office on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays between 9am-5pm. Fees/Admission - Tuition & Discounts • 1 Child: $125/month ($6.25/day) • 2 Children: $200/month ($5/day/child) • 3+ Children: $89/month per child (~$4.45/day/child) Scholarships Available – Stop by the office on M-F from 9 AM–5 PM Limited Enrollment: Only 10 spots available per age group (9-11yrs, 12-14yrs, 15-17yrs).
