Bread, Bowls, and a Seat at our Table

Description

Do you have a soup or homemade bread recipe that carries a little piece of home with it? Maybe it’s something your family has made for years, a recipe connected to your culture or heritage, or simply a dish that holds a special memory. For Bread, Bowls & A Seat at Our Table, we’re inviting community members to share those recipes and the stories behind them. This is not a potluck. Instead, contributors will submit their recipe ahead of time and join us at CFCF the morning of their gathering to prepare the recipe with us. When guests arrive, you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate how the recipe comes together and share the story behind it while everyone gathers around the table to enjoy the meal. If you’re sharing a homemade bread recipe, we’ll bake the bread here at CFCF. If there isn’t a homemade bread recipe featured that week, we’ll provide the bread to accompany the soup. It’s less about being a perfect cook and more about sharing something meaningful with your community. A recipe, a memory, a tradition—and a seat at the table. ❤️
